Is it safe for my newborn?

Alginate is a widely used, skin-safe material (the same type used in dental molds and many cosmetic applications), and our formulation is suitable for newborn skin. That said, if your baby has particularly sensitive or reactive skin, or any known skin conditions, we'd recommend consulting your pediatrician before use or holding off on this activity.

How it works

  1. Mix the molding powder with water and pour into the tub
  2. Gently guide baby's hand or foot into the mixture for a few seconds — no need to hold for long
  3. Remove carefully, mix the casting stone, and pour into the fresh mold
  4. Wait for it to cure, then de-mold your finished keepsake

Is it messy? +

The alginate mixes with water into a thick, non-toxic paste. We include a plastic tub and mixing tools to keep spillage contained — a bit of powder dust is normal, but cleanup is quick with a damp cloth.

How long does it take to dry? +

The mold sets in about 2-3 minutes once hands are submerged. The casting stone needs roughly 45-60 minutes to cure fully before you can de-mold your sculpture.

What if we make a mistake? +

Each kit includes enough alginate for one confident attempt, but if the mold doesn't set right, message us — we're happy to walk you through a fix or send a replacement pouch.

How much is delivery? +

Delivery is $3 anywhere in Lebanon, and free on orders of $30 or more. We offer Cash on Delivery — you pay when your kit arrives.

How long can I store the kit before using it? +

Unopened, the alginate and casting powder stay fresh for up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within a few days for best results.
