How it works

The alginate mixes with water into a thick, non-toxic paste. We include a plastic tub and mixing tools to keep spillage contained — a bit of powder dust is normal, but cleanup is quick with a damp cloth.

How long does it take to dry? +

The mold sets in about 2-3 minutes once hands are submerged. The casting stone needs roughly 45-60 minutes to cure fully before you can de-mold your sculpture.

What if we make a mistake? +

Each kit includes enough alginate for one confident attempt, but if the mold doesn't set right, message us — we're happy to walk you through a fix or send a replacement pouch.

How long can I store the kit before using it? +

Unopened, the alginate and casting powder stay fresh for up to 12 months when stored in a cool, dry place. Once opened, use within a few days for best results.
